Individuals
For individuals, this course is an invitation to engage in a deeply transformative process. You will practice using ideas, concepts, and tools that allow you to accurately perceive, interrupt, and Transmute White Supremacy and Patriarchy™. You will come to understand how intricately these forces influence, dominate and control how we see the world, our role in it, and how we engage in relationships with ourselves and others.
Cultivating Intersectional Leadership is a journey of Individual, Interpersonal and Interdependent exploration, reflection, and engagement. Through continuous practice using module 1, you can consider, explore, and engage what it means to transmute white supremacy and patriarchy in your daily life toward developing effective intersectional leadership.
Success requires that you intentionally and authentically engage. You will learn using submodules that include:
Uprooting Perceptions: Impact of Power and Privilege
Peeling Back the Tendrils: Reimagining My Reality

What’s Possible
By journeying through these three modules in an active and committed way, you open the door to transformative impact, shift, and change. What you get out of this course is directly related to how you show up in it, and the level of intention and integration you offer. At the end of this course, the following possibilities exist:
A deeper understanding of the importance, in these times, of centering race;
An ability to hold broad mindfulness about historically oppressive social constructs as a means to be a whole and complete person;
A capacity to perceive and unpack social inequities, without isolating yourself or others;
An orientation toward exploring how interconnectedness bolsters your ability to advance personal and professional relationships by uplifting those around;
The skill to engage yourself and others authentically and inclusively;
Deeper ability to engage in healthy and anti-oppressive inter-racial relationships;
Increased capacity to unpack internalized oppression and/or internalized supremacy, imposterism, and limiting beliefs;
Deepened awareness of Individual Identity Development;
An analysis of the ways that whiteness and anti-Blackness are present in yourself, the relationships around you, your community, and institutional systems;
The ability and will to move collectively and respond with collective support, even if your attention is in one particular arena of interest. Intersectional Leaders avoid the “Oppression Olympics” of focusing on binaries or a “battle of the social inequities.”
